Walter Kolker
Executive Managing Director - Partner
Walter Kolker, Executive Managing Director and a Partner has 50 years of business experience as a builder, developer, banker and co-owner of a multinational business process outsourcing and information technology services company. He has assisted in building and owning in excess of 800 residential housing units and in excess of 100,000 square feet of medical office buildings. As a banker he assisted in funding in excess $500 million in over 300 companies both domestically and internationally. Walter as a Business Processing Outsourcing Company BPO and IT Service Company owner had 5 customer service centers both domestically and internationally with over 800 customer service seats and 1,600 customer service representatives. He was a Director, Administrator and Shareholder of Montgomery Ward Travel, a provider of full travel services to eight million Montgomery Ward customers and credit card holders. Additionally he was advisor to Freedom Travel, Inc. TraveLeaders Group and Hickory Travel Systems, Inc. He was an advisor to Bright's Creek Residential Resort, and is an advisor to PV Enterprises International, Inc. (PVEC:US), Taylannas, Inc.-SpeechMED+, Fuego Enterprises, Inc. (FUGI:US). Walter holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Parson College and attended Seton Hall University to obtain a Master’s Degree and was a member of the United States Air Force. Robert E. Jacobson, M.D.

Managing Director - Project Development
Robert Jacobson graduated from Pennsylvania State University and Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in a 5-year combined BS/MD program. Subsequently, he did his internship and residency in Neurological Surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City and at the University of Miami and remained as instructor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Miami, School of Medicine. In addition, he attended the University of Miami Law School and Executive MBA program. Dr. Jacobson continued a full neurosurgical practice for over 20 years, specializing in spinal surgery and stereotactic brain surgery. He was also one of the early developers of percutaneous spinal procedures and holds four patents on surgical instruments. During this time he acted as a development and marketing consultant for CT Imaging Systems at GE Medical Systems and worked on the tomographic development team for Toshiba Medical Systems. He was part of the design and FDA approval process for percutaneous and stereotactic systems with Surgical Dynamics and Leksell Systems. This consulting involved design, development and marketing of new imaging and surgical systems and instruments and working with the individual companies engineering and marketing teams. Over the last 15 years Dr. Jacobson has been directly involved in setting up numerous physician business partnerships for Pain Centers, Ambulatory Surgical Centers and several partnerships involved in hospital ownership and subsequent mergers as well as Medical Office Building (MOB) development. Over the last five years he has worked directly and as a consultant in evaluating and structuring over 75 MOB projects for several development groups around the country as well as developing his own projects in Florida and Colorado. Currently his focus is on putting together or advising physician groups involved in medical real estate projects and leading feasibility studies and financial analysis for these projects nationwide within the healthcare arena. With the formation of Trinity Healthcare Partners and in combination with Strategic Healthcare Consulting the entire team approach can be effectively concentrated on any given project providing all the necessary expertise and consultants to analyze, finance and develop any size medical real estate project. Dr. Jacobson’s expertise is in putting the best team together, working through the different options and structures to maximize the potential of the project and lead it to completion. Dr. Jacobson Lives in Coral Gables Florida and Colorado.

Cleveland (CJ) Matherne Jr.
Advisory Board Member, Director of Construction
CJ Matherne Jr. is an accomplished senior manager with over 30 years of real estate experience, including considerable expertise in all aspects of healthcare real estate. As Director of Property and Real Estate Assets for Baptist Health South Florida for over 10 years, CJ has participated heavily in facilitating the growth of Baptist Health's real estate expansion. As Director, he oversaw the design, development, construction, leasing and management of over a million and a half square feet of medical space in sizes starting from 9,000 square feet for imaging centers inside strip malls, all the way to 238,000 square feet medical offices. He personally leased most of the existing physician offices within the 40 plus buildings. Over the past 20 years, CJ has leased, constructed, and managed ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care facilities, imaging centers, and rehabilitation centers. He has also constructed numerous physician offices of all specialties with and without procedure rooms, as well as many other healthcare related space requiring unique medical and utility needs. Prior to taking the position with Baptist, CJ was senior property manager for Codina/Bush Real Estate. Besides managing a portfolio of commercial office buildings and warehouse complexes his main responsibility was leasing and managing medical office space. CJ’s role with Trinity Healthcare will be to lease and manage the MOB projects developed or acquired. He will also help ensure each project meets the needs of the physician and fits the within the development codes. CJ is essential to the physician relationship and making sure they are compliant within the STARK Laws. In addition to leasing and management, he has been responsible for the oversight of the Environment of Care. In doing this he dealt with the various governing agencies, like The Joint Commission, AHCA, CARF, etc. While holding this responsibility, he also achieved the highest levels of recommendation possible many times with “no recommendation” status. He has received numerous recognitions throughout his career which includes the BOMA International “TOBY” award for the Medical Building of the Year, first in 1992 and then again in 2002. CJ graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education. He holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s license and is an active member of Business Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and NFPA. He is on the Construction Board of Camillus House in Miami for the construction of the new Camillus House Center. He is an active member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church in Miami. CJ and his wife Genie live in the Miami area and have three children.

Thomas M. Patrick

Thomas Patrick has been actively involved as a leader and visionary in all phases of real estate and finance for the past thirty years, during which time Thomas served as Managing Director of CBRE, and later as President of the wholly owned subsidiary, Grubb & Ellis of Florida. As CEO of TMP Management Group LLC., Thomas is consistently involved in international and domestic real estate, where Thomas was instrumental in handling the disposition of billions of dollars of real estate on behalf of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Thomas also was imminently involved in the asset restructuring of WorldCom, and has served as a consultant to, among others, HSBC, Prudential, Gator Investments, Learning Ladder, SunMark Federal Credit Union, World Trade Center, U.S. Postal Service, Keyes Real Estate Corporation, and many other foreign and domestic institutional and high net worth entities. Thomas has financed real estate, developed and operated residential (tract and custom housing) and commercial properties, as well as handled condominium conversions and marketing for major commercial and residential projects. Thomas received a Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville State University, and attended graduate school at Pennsylvania State University, where Thomas was a doctoral candidate in earth, mineral and marine sciences. Thomas served as a Founding Director of the Marine Science Consortium, a non-profit enterprise, consisting of over sixty universities and colleges in the U.S. In addition, many junior college and secondary school systems in six states were involved in sharing three near shore field campuses and enumerable watercraft in research and educational endeavors for public, private and institutional clients. Mr. Patrick holds many professional designations in real estate, including licenses for real estate and mortgage brokering and is a past or current member of the following organizations: Urban Land Institute, Certified Commercial Investment Member, National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, Greater Miami Association of Realtors, Mortgage Bankers Association, International Conference of Shopping Centers, National Association of Office and Industrial Parks, Building Owners and Managers Association, Trustee Member of Miami Chamber of Commerce, Trustee Member of Beacon Council.

Arlene Kolker
Advisory Board Member - Healthcare Foundation Advisor
Arlene Kolker is a member of the of St Luke's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, St Luke's is an affiliate of the Carolinas HealthCare System of Charlotte. Arlene is a Founder at Mount Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach Florida for the past 20 years. Arlene retired after 30 years from BellSouth / ATT while holding various management positions. She is a past president of Telephone Pioneers of America, Miami Council and has been involved with United Way of Dade County. Additionally, Arlene has also been involved with fundraising efforts for Jackson Memorial Hospital – Trauma Center. Arlene is a licensed Real estate broker for the past 30 years owning Express Realty of Miami, Inc. Arlene lives in Miami Florida and Rutherford County North Carolina.
